Search Tips
Basic Searching
The easiest way to find a course you're looking for is to just type a keyword. For example, typing english will list all the courses that contain English in their titles.

As you type we'll show you a list of courses that contain your keyword. You can choose an item from the list or ignore our suggestions.
Advanced Searching
Just like Google you can search for multiple keywords at the same time. For example, typing french or german will return a list of French or German courses. Typing computer and design will show all the courses that contain both computer and design in their titles.
You can search for an entire phrase by enclosing your keyword in quotemarks. Searching on "accounting apprenticeship" will return a list of courses that contain that exact phrase in their titles.
Finding Combinations
You can now search for schools, colleges or providers that offer particular combinations of courses. Change the show me results button to by providers. For example, searching on sport and tourism and maths and french and german and geography will only show schools, colleges or providers that offer all of those courses.
Further Refining Your Search
You can also refine your search in the following ways. You can do this either on the Homepage by clicking the Full Search button, or using the areas on the left-hand column to narrow down your results on the Search Results page.
By Subject Area
Untick any subject areas you don't want to include in your results.
By Type
Untick any types of qualifications that you're not interested in, for example GCSEs, A-levels, NVQs etc.
By Provider
Untick any schools, colleges or providers you're not interested in.
By Level
Drag the two sliders to show which levels you're interested in. For example, dragging the left slider to 1 and the right slider to 3 will show courses between levels 1 and 3.

By Distance
Type in a postcode and drag the slider to only show courses within a certain distance of your location. The results will be updated to show only relevant courses.
